Those who follow the stars (the ones in the sky), were up in arms at the start of this week when it was suggested that the 12 astrological signs as we know them might be roughly one month off-target, as a result of the planetary shifts that have occurred over the past 2,500 years.

However, today it was announced that a new sign Ophiuchus, the Serpent Bearer, will be introduced to the zodiac. Additionally, astrologers aimed to soothe those who vigilantly check their horoscopes.

"Astrology does not look at the relationship between the constellations and the Earth. We study the relationship with the Sun and the Earth and the planets," astrologer Milada Sakic told The Toronto Star.

In pop culture news, the latest comic book story to be adapted for the big screen, The Green Hornet, certainly created a lot of buzz. At press time, "The Green Hornet" returned approximately 3,800 news items.

Fans seem enthusiastic about the film, which stars funnyman Seth Rogan. Reuters reported that the film took in approximately $550,000 in midnight showings upon its release.

This week entertainment news journalists found themselves reporting on plenty of happy news. John Travolta and wife Kelly Preston introduced their new baby boy, Benjamin, to the world.

"He looks like me," Travolta told People Magazine of his 7-week-old son. "He's been great. One night, he actually slept seven hours – which is unbelievable!"

In other trending baby news, actress Kate Hudson confirmed that she and her boyfriend, Matt Bellamy, are expecting. The 31-year-old actress is already mom to son Ryder, whom she had with ex-husband, Black Crowes frontman Chris Robinson. Bellamy is the lead vocalist and main songwriter for the British band Muse.

Another mom-to-be, Natalie Portman, showed off her baby bump at the premiere of her latest film, No Strings Attached. Portman recently announced her engagement to her Black Swan costar Benjamin Millepied, but she told Fox News that she was drawn to No Strings Attached because of her character's desire to avoid emotional intimacy with her partner.

"I love romantic comedies, but I'm tired of seeing girls who want to get married all the time and that's all they're interested in. I think there is a wider vision of how women can conduct their lives and what they want," Portman told the news source.

Last week internet users were avidly searching for news of Ted Williams. The former homeless man became an internet sensation when his smooth baritone voice landed him new opportunities and a new life.

However, online buzz about the singer makes it clear that his path toward wealth and fame is not completely free of challenges.

Williams and his daughter, Janey Williams, got into an altercation at the Hollywood Hotel and Spa earlier this week. Williams later admitted to talk-show host Dr. Phil that he is still battling his drug and alcohol addictions. At press time "Ted Williams" returned 40,000,000 Google results.

So what will next week bring? Stay tuned to find out what gets entertainment news hounds are writing, searching and talking about.
