Affiliate Summit announced earlier this week that its forthcoming Affiliate Summit West Conference was a sell-out, but apparently that doesn’t mean tickets aren’t still available.
As of noon Friday there were five passes for sale on eBay for next week’s event – all around $200.
On its AffiliateTip website, Affiliate Summit says it supports the selling of the tickets on the secondary market, but it warns buyers to beware of scams.
Most passes can be transferred by obtaining the reference number from the original purchaser of the pass. But complimentary passes or those won in contests or obtained through other means cannot, according to AffiliateTip’s Shawn Collins.
It may also be possible to purchase passes in Las Vegas in the event of cancellations.
This year marks the sixth year the Affiliate Summit Conference has been in existence and it continues to grow annually, with next week’s conference expecting almost 3,000 attendees – up from the 550 who attended the Las Vegas conference in 2005.
The Affiliate Summit West Conference starts Sunday January 11th and runs through Tuesday January 13th at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.
