Facebook is making good on its promise to build out advertising options that give brands better opportunities to capitalize with social media marketing. An official post on the Facebook for Business page announced the network wants every participating company to have visually attractive custom content, so it partnered with Shutterstock to give advertisers and page administrators access to millions of photos for free.
Earlier this summer, Facebook stripped down its offerings and the company appears it’s now fleshing out those core advertising products to help companies generate the most content ROI. This release gives businesses access to images to make their Facebook marketing efforts more clickable, but it also creates ways to manage ads quickly and conveniently.
Companies can also upload multiple images at once to create more than one ad at a time. Additionally, the network updated its mobile Manager application for Android and Apple devices to help busy marketers create and edit ads on the go.
Complementary images are a simple upgrade that can dramatically increase website conversions. Brafton’s latest infographic reveals that graphics increase viewers’ willingness to read by 80 percent and boost engagement by 47 percent. It’s important that marketers take advantage of every opportunity to stand out in the marketplace, which is being increasingly crowded as every brand realizes they must be active on social channels as well as be visible in search.
