Google has announced that it will be offering Google Analytics users new features this year. The Google Analytics Tool is an easy-to-use free resource for SEO marketers, and the upgrades might make it even more user-friendly.

According to the Google Analytics blog, the features will roll out throughout the year, and a select group of test participants could have immediate access to them. The aim of the upgrades is to “make it easier and faster to get the data you want,” and the changes address user feedback.

There will be multiple dashboards in the new version of Analytics, as well as a feature that enables users to see multiple advanced segments. To test these features, marketers and site owners can contact Google via the beta sign-up page. (Should you choose to be part of the testing, you will still be able to use the current version of Analytics.)

These potential improvements should come as good news to marketers. Brafton has explored the benefits of Google Analytics in understanding which content pages draw the most relevant traffic and which keywords perform best in conversion.
