With vacation season already in full swing, one California hotel is looking to boost its online presence with a new website and search engine optimization (SEO).

The Holiday Inn Fresno Downtown in Fresno, California has hired Worldwide Revenue Solutions (WRS) to launch a new website for the hotel and to make sure it is using proper search engine optimization (SEO).

According to WRS, now that the site is up and running it will begin creating content for the site using niche keywords on the site in an attempt to increase its search engine optimization in Google and Yahoo.

This is not WRS’s first foray into search engine optimization for hotels as the Dallas, Texas-based company announced last week that it was performing a similar campaign for the Holiday Inn JFK Airport in Jamaica, New York as well as the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Costa Mesa Hotel in Costa Mesa, California.

A growing amount of industries are using search engine optimization (SEO) to increase their web presence, including tourism. Earlier this year VISIT DENVER, the nonprofit convention and visitors bureau for the city of Denver, Colorado announced it was using search engine optimization (SEO) to drive traffic and conversion.
