Microsoft has announced another update to its Live Search resource.

Following on from the launch of a new home page for the platform at the end of July which aimed to provide users with a new image every day, those who use the service will now see a new image every day when they visit the site.

A post on the official Live Search blog notes that the pictures are designed to spur the imaginations of those using the site and feature ‘hotspots’ that allow users to click through to search results.

"Sometimes we’ll just show great pictures that we like; sometimes the images will be related to topical events, like the upcoming Labor Day holiday or NFL season kickoff," the article explains.

It notes that, on occasion, images from the ongoing presidential election will be used and reassures consumers that equal time will be given to both Republican and Democrat parties.
