The internet is an increasingly important way for companies to get their message across to consumers.

That’s the finding of a study from global communications company MS&L, which also suggests online users are becoming increasingly trusting of the web.

According to the survey, 59 percent of Americans believe they can tell a lot about a company’s values by reading blogs, message boards and other portals on the internet.

Of the six countries surveyed, the U.S. topped the list, with the UK being the most skeptical at 45 percent.

The survey follows a study earlier this year from marketing information company TNS, that found more Americans trusted online news than news found on television or newspapers.

These studies also show the speed with which the internet is growing and becoming an important way Americans search for news and information. A Pew Research Center study found that 37 percent of Americans search for news online at least three times a week.
