His name is Jeff Chilton and he’s been foraging for wild mushrooms since he was a wee lad.

But shrooms didn’t become his life’s work until his college days in the early 1970s. He took a trip to Mexico and then he took a trip in Mexico, if you follow. It was love at first flight from reality.

Since that magic mushroom-induced sojourn, he’s become a leading expert in the nutritional, medicinal and spiritual properties of fungi. (And not in the “untethered from reality” type of way; Jeff is a down-to-earth expert who’s all-too-ready to debunk your favorite mushroom myths.)
