Earlier this year, Brafton reported that foursquare unveiled more information for businesses looking to partner with the location-based service. Now, the company has announced that it is offering a whole new analytics dashboard to internet marketers.

The new analytics dashboard lets internet marketers have easier access to all of their venues' information. A new management system also facilitates offering multiple Specials at several venues. Plus, marketers will be able to see statistics about their campaigns as the deals are being run.

Foursquare's updated system also makes creating Specials more intuitive and gives merchants more options about deals. For instance, Flash Specials reward the first customers to check in after a certain time, Friends Specials enable brands to offer promotions to people who check in together, Swarm Specials reward large group check-ins and Newbie Specials aim to entice new customers.

The tools are now available for the “quarter million businesses who have already verified, and the thousands more that join foursquare each week,” say foursquare officials.

The local deal market is rapidly growing. In fact, Brafton reported earlier today that Facebook is updating its local discount deals offering. Brands that take advantage of the new foursquare offerings may find they are able to connect to a rapidly growing location-based audience. Earlier this year, Brafton reported that foursquare reached 6 million users.
